Dr Callie Burnett

BAnVBioSc DVM

Veterinarian / Director

Dr Callie Burnett, is our skillful leader and an exceptional general practice veterinarian.

Dr Callie grew up in Western Australia on a small horse property before moving to Euroa with her family in 2008. After completing her undergraduate degree in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at La Trobe University, Callie went on to complete the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at The University of Melbourne. Upon graduation Callie began her career as a veterinarian, first working with Dr Bob and his team at Euroa Veterinary Clinic, before forming ACE Vet Hospital Euroa.

Dr Callie’s clinical interests include critical care, pain management and anaesthesia, and we can confidently say she’s ‘off the charts’ dedicated to the pets in her care. Through caring for her patients, Dr Callie enjoys building lasting relationships with both her patients and their families.

Outside of work Dr Callie enjoys spending time with her family, horse riding and helping her partner on his sheep farm. Dr Callie is the proud owner of 2 dogs – Dottie and Finn, 2 cats – Katniss and Annie, her horse Raisin and Sultana the sheep, who thinks she’s a horse.

Dr Andrew Jacotine

BVSc[hons] M.App.Sci MANZCVS

Small Animal Surgeon / Director

Dr Andrew is a highly regarded small animal surgeon with over 20 years experience as a surgeon and general practice veterinarian.

After completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at The University of Melbourne, Dr Andrew went on to further his education in small animal surgery and gained a membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in small animal surgery in 2001, and a Masters of Applied Science from The University of Sydney, in 2010.

Dr Andrew’s experience in small animal surgery began whilst working as a regional GP in Mansfield for over 14 years, receiving a high primary and referral surgical case load. Then in 2012, Dr Andrew began the role as staff surgeon for Animal Hospitals Australia (a large group of clinics in Melbourne – now National Vet Care), and remained as staff surgeon for over 4 years.

Now a consultant, Dr Andrew’s expertise in high end diagnostics and minimally invasive surgery, has him in demand across Melbourne and regional Victoria. With his base at ACE Vet Hospital, Dr Andrew is available for diagnosing complex cases and performing advanced surgeries for both local and referral patients.

Dr Andrew continues to challenge and educate himself, and those around him, engaging with the latest technology and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in general practice and veterinary surgery. When Andrew’s not working he loves a chat and a fish, ideally both at once.

Dr Tiffany Pang

BVSc DVM

Veterinarian

Dr Tiffany graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2019 and then spent 6 months traveling the world before joining us at ACE Vet Hospital.

Tiffany has a keen interest in dermatology and small animal surgery. Dr Tiffany has such a kind and gentle soul...but also a wicked sense of humour and is a great baker, turning up some mornings with tasty treats for the team!

Tiffany is super hard working and dedicated to the ACE Vet pets and their families, we are all so lucky to have Tiffany as part of our community.

Dr Josh Tannen

BVSc BAnimSc

Veterinarian

Dr Josh Tannen grew up in Sydney and first started work in the veterinary world as a vet nurse whilst completing a Bachelor degree in Animal Science. Josh then went on to complete a further Bachelor degree in Veterinary Science at James Cook University in Townsville, QLD.

Dr Josh then spent 2 years working in a small animal GP practice in Port Macquarie, NSW before making the exciting decision to join the team at ACE Vet Hospital, Euroa, VIC.

Dr Josh has a keen interest in small animal surgery, ultrasonography and nutrition and is a fabulous addition to the ACE family.

Outside of work Dr Josh loves to spend his time downhill mountain biking, camping, surfing (we don’t have the heart to tell him how close the nearest beach is!) and hanging out with his partner Zoe and their two gorgeous Belgian Shepherds Sasha and Mako.

Dr Elle Sanders

BVSc DVM

Veterinarian

Dr Elle joined the team at ACE in 2021, as a graduate from the University of Adelaide.

Having grown up in Horsham and spending the majority of her holidays at her grandparents cattle farm, Dr Elle developed a life long love of animals and a desire from a young age to become a vet.

Getting to know her clients and patients, case work ups, diagnostics and imaging, are the things Dr Elle loves the most about being a small animal GP vet.

She is excited about developing her skills in high end imaging including ultrasonography, fluoroscopy and video endoscopy all of which she has exposure and access to at ACE.

Dr Elle has fully embraced life in Euroa. Joining the local netball team and taking advantage of the beautiful Strathbogie ranges and nearby high country to do some serious hiking, camping and adventuring.

When Dr Elle’s not working she loves hanging out with her friends, drinking a serious amount of coffee (has to be seen to be believed) and playing with her gorgeous new Dachshund pup Archie!

We are so thrilled to have Dr Elle as part of our team and the Euroa community.

Jacque Bateman

Practice Manager / Veterinary Nurse

Born in Shepparton Victoria and growing up on a dairy farm in the North East is where Jacque’s love for animals began. During her high school year’s her family relocated to tropical North Queensland. With the new environment came with all sorts of interesting animals from green tree frogs, rhino beetles to fruit bats.

After graduating school she embarked on a gap year and working holiday with her high school sweetheart Nick in London, England, before they settled in Adelaide. Jacque then began studying a Certificate in Animal and Laboratory techniques in 1998. Soon after this she was offered a full-time position in a Veterinary Clinic in Adelaide’s leafy suburbs, Jacque worked within a great team for many years and gained her qualifications. She enjoyed working closely with a one of Adelaide Zoo’s leading Veterinarians who specialized in avian and native animals, something that has proved a fantastic asset for the region and its native residents here in Euroa and the North East.

When Jacque’s first son was born they returned to Victoria to be close to family, she focused on raising her two sons until they began school. Jacque has a great way with animals as well as people and she recently completed a Diploma in Bookkeeping and Accounting to gain a deeper understanding of business operations and to aid her husband’s Carpentry business.

Jacque was excited (and we were thrilled!) to join ACE Vet Hospital Euroa in 2018, as a full-time practice manager/ veterinary nurse and is looking forward to a bright future with us here. We are very lucky to have Jacque to mentor our staff and greet patients and their owners with a warm, beautiful smile...smiles all round!

Karen Clarke

Veterinary Nurse

Karen moved to Euroa in 2013, from the foot of the Dandenong Ranges (obviously drawn to the foot of the Strathbogie Ranges). It was then that Karen began working with Dr Bob as a veterinary nurse.

From always having had a love for animals and the outdoors, her dream as a child was to live in the country, have animals and grow vegetables...and here she is living that dream! Karen has also decided to continue her studies this year and is working towards her certificate IV in veterinary nursing.

Karen is a busy mum to son Jesse who you will often see here in the afternoons after school checking in on patients and chatting over a cup of tea and biscuit. When Karen is not working, she loves to spend time enjoying her hobbies of motorcycles, kayaking, gardening and walking their 3 dogs. Not to mention caring for their menagerie of 2 cats, 4 ducks and 2 chickens!

We are super lucky to have such a genuine and motivated member of the ACE team, always looking for better ways to do things and providing outstanding care to our patients and their families.

Linsey Bell

Veterinary Nurse

Linsey, who’s always smiling, began working with us as a veterinary nurse student in 2017, and hasn’t looked back since. Linsey moved to Victoria from England in 2002, and is lucky enough to live on a small property with her plethora of cats, dogs, horses, sheep, cows, birds and rabbits.

Linsey is passionate about the wellbeing of all the animals in her care and is always up for a laugh and a chat. She has a fantastic sense of humour and is always sure to lighten the mood. Outside of work Linsey enjoys coffee, fishing (although we are not sure how fruitful the fishing is? We might need fellow keen fishermen, Chris and Andrew, to show her some of their tricks?) and cheering on her beloved Collingwood pies (we won’t hold that against her).

Linsey is currently working towards completing her certificate IV in veterinary nursing and is always passionate and hungry to learn new things.

Sophie Gall

Veterinary Nurse

Sophie grew up on a sheep and cattle farm, just north of Violet Town. It was here she developed her love of animals and a desire to one day become a veterinary nurse. While still at high school, Sophie began working on Saturday’s for Dr Bob at Euroa Veterinary Clinic. Once Sophie completed year 12, she gained experience in the equine industry, working in a local thoroughbred stud.

Sophie is currently studying a certificate in veterinary nursing whilst working part time at ACE Vet Hospital. Sophie is a smiley and fun member of the team, with a youthful enthusiasm that’s hard to beat. When Sophie’s not working or studying, she loves riding her horse Charley, and spending time with her family and friends.
